Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Freelance Lifting Supervisor Trainer to deliver professional training programs for participants working in lifting, rigging, construction, oil & gas, and industrial environments. The trainer will be responsible for delivering engaging, practical, and industry-relevant training covering lifting supervision, safe lifting operations, risk assessment, lifting plans, and relevant safety standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver Lifting Supervisor training through classroom and/or online sessions. Provide practical and theoretical instruction on safe lifting and lifting supervision. Cover topics including lifting plans, risk assessments, lifting equipment, rigging practices, load handling, and communication during lifting operations. Explain relevant international lifting, rigging, and HSE standards and best practices. Use practical examples, case studies, and real-world lifting scenarios to support learning. Assess participants' understanding through exercises, discussions, and assessments. Prepare or adapt training materials, presentations, exercises, and assessments where required. Maintain a professional and engaging learning environment. Provide feedback on participant performance and recommend areas for improvement. Coordinate with the training team regarding course requirements, schedules, and participant needs. Requirements Proven professional experience as a Lifting Supervisor, Lifting Specialist, Rigging Supervisor, or similar role . Strong practical experience in lifting and rigging operations, preferably within oil & gas, construction, energy, or industrial sectors . Previous experience delivering lifting/rigging or HSE-related training is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of lifting operations, lifting equipment, rigging practices, lifting plans, and risk assessment. Familiarity with relevant international lifting and safety standards. Relevant professional certifications in lifting, rigging, or HSE are an advantage. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to deliver training in a clear, practical, and engaging manner. Fluent English is required; Kurdish and/or Arabic is an advantage.
