The Junior Program Control Analyst assists in drafting budget reports and preparing materials for cost-benefit evaluation studies. They maintain financial management databases, support the tracking of budget expenditures, and prepare routine status reports for senior management review. The role involves supporting foundational program control protocols and converting financial data into desired formats for stakeholders.
Assists in drafting budget reports and helps prepare materials for cost-benefit evaluation studies. Updates and maintains financial management databases following standard operating procedures. Prepares routine status reports for senior management review and facilitates administrative coordination for the budget team. Supports the collection of data for financial after-action reports, tracking of budget expenditures, and preparation of mission-readiness documentation. Converts financial data into desired formats for dissemination among stakeholders.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Confidential level clearance prior to starting. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%, constantly operate a computer and office productivity machinery, and frequently communicate with co-workers and management.
BA/BS in a relevant discipline or a related field (or bachelor's degree substituted for 4 years of additional relevant experience). 1+ years of position-relevant experience. Foundational knowledge of military budgeting processes, ability to assist in financial coordination documents, and familiarity with Excel.
