We’re Hiring: Laboratory Technician (Basra Residents Only) We are looking for a qualified and motivated Fresh Chemistry Graduate based in Basra, Iraq, to join our team as a Laboratory Technician Trainee Position Details: · Job Title: Laboratory Technician Trainee · Location: Basra, Iraq (Basra city residents and Zubair only) · Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry Science for the last 3 years (2024 -2025 – 2026) only · Daily community only – no rotation 1. Job Purpose: To support daily laboratory operations by performing testing related to stimulation, acidising fluids, and cementing. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate results, maintain strict quality control standards, and provide timely technical support to field operations. 2. Key Responsibilities · Perform laboratory tests related to stimulation, cementing and acidising fluids, including compatibility, stability, solubility, and other relevant quality control tests. · Assist in preparing and evaluating acid formulations and chemical blends according to approved procedures. · Conduct routine physical and chemical measurements, including density, pH, and viscosity, as required. · Monitor test samples for solubility, emulsion, sludge formation, and other signs of incompatibility. · Record test results accurately and assist in preparing laboratory reports. · Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure cleanliness, and support routine equipment checks and calibration. · Follow laboratory safety procedures when handling acids, chemicals, and laboratory equipment. · Maintain proper chemical storage, sample identification, and laboratory documentation. · Coordinate with the Laboratory Supervisor and relevant operational teams to complete testing within the required timeframe. 3.
