About Iconic Iconic is a freight forwarding and logistics company headquartered in Erbil, providing air, land, and sea freight, customs clearance, project cargo, warehousing, and supply chain management across Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and Middle Eastern/Eurasian trade corridors. Purpose of the Role Drive new business and grow existing accounts across Iconic's freight and logistics services, converting leads into long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business across air, sea, land freight, customs clearance, project cargo, and warehousing services Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, client meetings, quotations, negotiation, closing Build and maintain relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, and trading companies Prepare and present competitive freight quotes and service proposals, coordinating with operations and pricing teams Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and trade corridor developments (Iraq, KRI, Middle East, Eurasia) Represent Iconic at trade events, exhibitions, and client meetings Coordinate with operations, customs, and documentation teams to ensure smooth handover post-sale Handle client queries and resolve service issues promptly to protect retention Requirements 2–3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain services Working knowledge of Incoterms, freight documentation, and customs clearance processes Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Fluent in English and Kurdish; Arabic is a plus Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools Valid driver's license and owns a vehicle; willing to travel for client visits Work Conditions Work Days: 6 Work Hours: 9-5 Salary: Negotiable Commission: 10% of gross profit from generated new clients
