The Institute for the Study of the Rule of Law and Democracy (IOL) is looking for a Project Accountant to manage and monitor financial transactions of projects in Erbil. The role includes overseeing asset and accounting records, preparing periodic financial and expense reports, monitoring budgets against approved limits, processing payments, ensuring compliance with internal financial policies, and coordinating with project managers and the finance department to guarantee accurate financial information.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; Proven experience in accounting and asset management, preferably in NGOs or funded projects; Strong ability to prepare financial reports and monitor budgets; Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data; Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines; Proficiency in Arabic is required; Knowledge of Kurdish and English is an advantage
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Relevant accounting and asset management experience; Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; Strong analytical and reporting skills; High attention to detail and integrity; Teamwork and deadline orientation; Arabic proficiency; Kurdish and English knowledge advantageous
