Job Overview: We are looking for a Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and secure the organization's network infrastructure while ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Main Responsibility Network Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructures. Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Monitor network performance and optimize for reliability and speed. Troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors when needed. Maintain IP addressing schemes, VLAN configurations, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.). Security Operations: Implement, manage, and monitor firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection. Apply and maintain network segmentation and zero-trust principles. Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits. Respond to security incidents and perform root-cause analysis. Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, etc.). Systems & Projects: Support data center and DR site connectivity, replication, and failover. Manage VPN access (site-to-site, client-to-site, SSL, IPSec). Collaborate with SOC, NOC, and IT teams to implement integrated security solutions. Participate in network upgrade, migration, and expansion projects. Document network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures. Skills & Requirements Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching. Hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, etc.). Experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security platforms. Understanding of VPNs, SSL, IPsec, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP. Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V) and cloud networking (Azure/AWS). Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, etc.). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and within a team under pressure. Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Professional certifications are highly preferred: Networking: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent. Security: Fortinet NSE 4+, Palo Alto PCNSE, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in network and security administration.
