AMIRCO is seeking qualified candidates for two positions: Mechanic and Electrician. Both roles involve maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting of heavy‑equipment components such as cranes, trucks, forklifts, diesel engines, and related electrical systems. Work hours are 9:00 am–5:00 pm, six days a week with one day off. The job is based in Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq.
Mechanic: • At least 2 years of relevant experience • Maintenance and repair of diesel engines used in cranes, trucks, forklifts and heavy equipment • Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical faults • Knowledge of automotive and heavy‑equipment spare parts • Experience with pumps and related maintenance • Familiarity with brands such as Mercedes (preferred) Electrician: • At least 2 years of relevant experience • Experience with electrical systems, control panels and related equipment • Practical work on overhead cranes, forklifts and lifting equipment • Ability to inspect, diagnose and repair electrical faults • Knowledge of VFD, PLC, radio control and other control systems (required or preferred) General: • Iraqi nationality preferred; non‑Iraqis accepted with valid residence • Languages: Kurdish, English and Arabic • Ability to work in a professional, responsibility‑driven environment
