The Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor manages warehouse operations, transportation, and order deliveries from supplier receipt to final customer delivery. The role requires ensuring inventory accuracy in the system, maintaining delivery efficiency, and overseeing warehouse staff.
• Schedule daily confirmed order deliveries for customers and agents in Baghdad and other provinces and monitor them until delivery • Manage drivers and transport companies, monitor transport costs, and resolve delay and damage issues • Receive supplier goods using barcodes and serial numbers and match them with purchase orders • Supervise order preparation and ensure no material leaves without a delivery receipt in the Odoo system • Conduct weekly and monthly stocktakes, match actual quantities with the system, and resolve any shortages or discrepancies • Organize transfers between the Baghdad and Erbil warehouses and reconcile them upon departure and arrival • Monitor minimum stock levels and notify management before materials run out • Receive and record returns while identifying their causes • Manage the warehouse team including warehouse keepers, laborers, and drivers and assign daily tasks • Coordinate with the sales team regarding delivery schedules and notify them of any delays • Submit weekly reports to management regarding inventory discrepancies, delayed orders, and transport costs
• Diploma or bachelor degree in business administration or any related field • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably with a distribution company • Experience in managing a team of warehouse keepers, laborers, and drivers • Proficiency in using computers and Excel, with preferred experience on the Odoo system or any ERP system • Knowledge of inter-provincial transportation routes and transport companies in Iraq • Firmness, accuracy in numbers, and the ability to work under pressure • Honesty and reliability
• Preferred experience with an ERP system like Odoo • Preferred possession of a driving license
• Salary determined based on competence and experience
