We are seeking experienced legal professionals to join our growing team across three specialized areas of law in Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. Candidates should have strong legal expertise, analytical skills, and a passion for legal research and policy development.
1. Conduct constitutional reviews and legal risk assessments; review and refine legal drafts; provide expert legal opinions. 2. Review legal frameworks, draft and revise laws, regulations, policies, and amendments; support policy testing and coordinate with stakeholders. 3. Review, validate, and update legal texts; research and summarize court decisions; standardize legal terminology and collaborate on digital legal content.
- Master’s degree in Law (PhD preferred) for senior role; Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s preferred) for other roles. - 5+ to 7+ years of relevant experience in constitutional, federal, administrative, regulatory, compliance, policy, or research areas. - Judicial or senior advisory experience is an advantage for senior role. - Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic; English is an advantage (required for research role).
