We are looking for a qualified and motivated fresh chemistry graduate based in Basra, Iraq to join our team as a Laboratory Technician Trainee, supporting daily laboratory operations related to stimulation, acidising fluids, and cementing.
Perform laboratory tests related to stimulation, cementing and acidising fluids, including compatibility, stability, solubility and other quality control tests; Assist in preparing and evaluating acid formulations and chemical blends; Conduct routine physical and chemical measurements such as density, pH and viscosity; Monitor test samples for solubility, emulsion, sludge formation and incompatibility; Record test results accurately and help prepare laboratory reports; Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure cleanliness and support routine checks and calibration; Follow laboratory safety procedures when handling acids, chemicals and equipment; Maintain proper chemical storage, sample identification and documentation; Coordinate with the Laboratory Supervisor and operational teams to complete testing within required timeframes.
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (graduated within the last 3 years); Fresh graduate with limited or no prior laboratory experience; Ability to perform basic laboratory tests and measurements; Familiarity with safety procedures and chemical handling; Good record‑keeping and reporting skills.
Bachelor's degree in Science Chemistry obtained in the last three years; Basic knowledge of laboratory testing for stimulation, acidising and cementing fluids; Ability to work safely with acids and chemicals; Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
