The Junior Associate will support senior lawyers and partners on litigation, transaction, corporate, and commercial matters for local and international clients operating in Iraq. The role offers exposure to high‑profile international clients, hands‑on training, mentorship, a merit‑based environment, and a clear development path within a growing practice.
- Valid Bar ID and Iraqi citizenship with a valid bar license - 2‑4 years of experience in litigation and transaction work (law‑firm experience preferred) - Strong drafting skills in English; Arabic and Kurdish are essential - Understanding of Iraqi corporate and commercial law or a strong willingness to learn - Ability to assist with company incorporations, regulatory filings, corporate governance, and commercial contracts - Experience conducting legal research under Iraqi law and comparative jurisdictions - Excellent communication, high attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work under pressure - Proactive, team‑oriented attitude
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized public or international university
