Job Description Roles: Provide first-level technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Respond to help desk requests, emails, and phone inquiries in a timely manner. Assist with the setup, maintenance, and configuration of IT equipment and user accounts. Maintain inventory and documentation of IT assets and support activities. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure systems are up-to-date and functional. Responsibilities: Respond promptly to IT help desk requests, emails, and phone calls, providing effective solutions or escalating as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and peripheral issues (printers, applications, logins). Assist in the setup and configuration of new laptops, desktops, and other IT equipment. Install approved software applications and configure user accounts in line with IT policies. Maintain and track IT inventory, including laptops, phones, tablets, and peripherals. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as operating system updates, antivirus scans, and backups. Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity, and shared drives. Configure network printers and shared storage devices for user access. Reset passwords and assist users with access issues for laptops and accounts. Document support requests, resolutions, and actions taken in the ticketing system or IT log. Maintain familiarity with Windows and/or macOS operating environments and related applications. Support staff in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Communicate clearly and effectively with users to explain technical issues and solutions. Perform Any other tasks assigned by the line manager. Requirements Your attributes and experience : Required experience and education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Software engineering or related field. Previous experience [2-3 years] in IT and help desk role. Required skills: Strong organization, planning, and execution skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills. Strong IT literacy skills with experience in Microsoft Package. Strong English and Kurdish language is required, other local languages are desired. Additional requirements: Prepared to work additional hours when required. Report any issues to the line manager or HR. Adhere to values, policies, and procedures. Traveling to other locations within or outside the country for work and staying overnight. Maintain confidentiality of information. Preferred experience (not mandatory): Prior experience in staff management
