Support implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Environmental Management Systems (EMS). Ensure compliance with Iraqi environmental legislation, company HSSE standards, and international best practices. Oversee environmental monitoring programs for air emissions, wastewater, soil, groundwater, and noise. Implement waste management, hazardous waste control, pollution prevention, and spill response. Support occupational health activities including medical surveillance, industrial hygiene monitoring, and workplace health risk controls. Participate in environmental incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions. Provide technical advice on environmental and occupational health to operations, projects, engineering, and drilling teams.
Diploma or Bachelor degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline. NEBOSH IGC certification preferred. Strong knowledge of environmental risks in oil and gas operations. Proficiency with MS Office tools.
