The GIS Electrical Supervisor will oversee the construction and installation of a 132/33 kV electrical substation project in North Basra. The role involves monitoring site progress and ensuring technical compliance for high-voltage substation components.
• Supervise the installation of 132 kV and 33 kV GIS equipment • Monitor and measure project progress against technical specifications • Coordinate interfaces between various substation components • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of power transformers and capacitors • Manage protection and metering equipment installation • Supervise outdoor HV equipment and disconnect switches • Oversee emergency diesel generator setup
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering • 5–12 years of experience in transmission electrical substation construction • Proven expertise in GIS substations of 132 kV and above • Proficiency in English at B2–C1 level with technical reporting skills • Residency in Iraq, preferably Basra • Availability to work 6 days per week
• Contract duration of at least 3 months
